Nature walk along the banks of Ruisseau Jackson – May 29, 2016

As part of Journées de la nature [Nature Days], Ruisseau Jackson: Protected Natural Area is organizing a nature walk on Sunday, May 29, from 9:00 to 11:30 am.

Touch, smell, taste and experience Ruisseau Jackson with the whole family!

Come and discover a magical place with your children and learn more about why we have to protect this green space bordering Mille-Isles, St-Sauveur and Morin-Heights. A biologist who is very familiar with the region will accompany us on the walk. The goal of the walk is to point out key parts of the natural area and focus on some of its features, especially those that are visible in spring.

We will meet at the end of Chemin Wood, in Morin-Heights, Quebec.

Take Chemin du Lac Écho or Montée Hamilton to Chemin Wood and head for Pont Wood, which crosses Ruisseau Jackson. The walk starts there. A map of the meeting place is available below. X marks the spot! Approximate GPS coordinates: latitude – 45°52’16.49″N, longitude – 74°14’50.05″W.
