Season’s Greetings

On these last days of 2021, as we slide into the holidays, the Ruisseau Jackson Natural Protected Area’s team wishes you the best for the festive season!

We are a small community, and it is quite likely that you will come to the beautiful Laurentians and possibly our watershed to recharge your batteries before starting a new year. Whether you are going for a walk, snowshoeing or skiing on the municipality’s official trails, we hope you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes that surround us.

We want to take this time to thank you for your support and your interest in our nature conservation mission – 2021 was a busy year! As recently as last month, we were able to carry out a major cleanup along the municipal trails and install nesting boxes for endangered birds on the banks of the stream. The boxes are set up near Hope Bridge and towards the old Seale Lake, now the largest and most fragile wetland in our watershed.

We will still have to work hand in hand in 2022 and, luckily, our nature conservation efforts are moving in the right direction.

Contact us if you want to know more about our activities or would like to support them through a donation. We have great projects in sight!

Until then …

Relax and have a wonderful holiday season. From the whole Ruisseau Jackson team: Happy New Year!
