“If the Ruisseau could talk”… 1st June 2024: mark your calendar

Environmental historians who study human interaction with the natural world, sometimes over very long periods, emphasize the role human affairs play in influencing nature and vice versa. But what is the story of the Ruisseau Jackson and the Simon River in which it plunges?

Ruisseau Jackson (RJANP) is proud to announce the publication of a short history of the Ruisseau Jackson watershed. The publication is to be produced this year thanks to the Morin Heights Historical Association (MHHA).

If the Ruisseau could talk… It would invite you to join us and learn more!

An associated conference will take place on June 1, 2024, 14h00 to 15h00 at Chalet Bellevue.

Come hear the author lend his voice to the Ruisseau: Mr. James Jackson! His presentations are always extremely interesting and delivered with his usual enthusiasm. Don’t miss it!
