Maintenance of ditches with brand new berms

The Municipality of Morin-Heights is in full action this fall to reduce the sediment input in the main watercourse of the Ruisseau Jackson watershed. In this photo, a road shared between the municipality and that of Saint-Sauveur (Quebec) in the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut. Major cleanup 2021

Another good deed accomplished by our group in October 2021. The Ruisseau Jackson (RJANP) team and many volunteers cleaned up four illegal dump sites near Ruisseau Jackson. A river and its mushrooms!

Mushrooms are a major component of local biodiversity! The Ruisseau Jackson watershed is rich in forest mushrooms of all kinds.
