Water Quality and Nature Conservation Meeting: September 30, 2017!

Ruisseau Jackson protected natural area (RJANP) is inviting you to a half-day information session on water quality and private land conservation options. This event is made possible thanks to support from the Lake Echo Association (APLÉ) in Morin-Heights.

The program below will allow you to choose which part of the event you will want to attend.

8:45 am: Coffee

9:00 to 9:30 am: RJANP annual general meeting

9:30 to 9:50 am: Water quality results for the watershed

10:00 am to 12 noon: Training session on private land conservation options

RJANP has invited Louise Gratton, Ecology and Conservation Consultant. Ms Gratton has 35 years of experience in these fields, including 12 years working at the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). She is a founding member of the Appalachian Corridor.

The training session will inform participants about various conservation options to help them preserve the natural features of their properties. Topics include ecological gifts, conservation agreements and related tax incentives.

You are welcome to stay for the entire event. A voluntary $30 contribution is suggested, $5 for the portion on water quality results and $25 for the training session.
